I'm taking a break from writing on the Writing Challenge to focus on completing my second novel with the hope of publishing in Spring 2017. I've learned a lot and thanks to all who've commented on my work! Father of four, married to the same woman for 27 years. I draw pretty pictures of buildings and how they fit together during the day, write by night. I hated writing in school; it wasn't until about the 11th grade that an interest was kindled. I'm an avid reader of history, science fiction (no fantasy) and political commentaries. I write about the impact of Christianity on those who dare to embrace it, dare to experience God's love and forgiveness. Usually my characters have abandoned or lost their faith out of frustration for the Church failing them. They finally get reconciled back to God, the Church they so eagerly despising, playing a pivotal role in their redemption. They also experience Christ in such a powerful way; something new; something fresh. Most modern novels are filled with deepening degrees of depravity, I seek to change that; I can't think of a more positive, powerful and meaningful topic to write about than God's love and our response to it.
