Born in Savannah, Georgia, Janice Davis lived in a children's home from age six until she graduated from high school. She earned a degree in Secretarial Studies from Georgia Southern University and is part of a writers’ group. An article in The Island Packet newspaper featured her poem “The Beauty of Creation” and an interview with Davis. Her chief desire is to offer encouragement and hope to others through her writing, using her own life experiences about emotional healing and health. She lives in South Carolina, with her husband of eighteen years and their three sons.
