I am a 65 year old grandmother living in Gardendale, Alabama. I retired from BellSouth in 1995 and worked in the medical field from 1995-2007. After going through a divorce at the age of 29 I raised my only child, a son, putting him through college and remained single for 33 years. In 2007 I married again for the second time to a wonderful man who lost his first wife in 2006. He is retired from NASA. We now attend Gardendale First Baptist Church in Gardendale, Alabama after attending Cathedral of the Cross Church in Birmingham for over 25 years. I self-published a Christian book in 2003 and after the untimely passing of my son in 2009 I was encouraged by my former boss to write an article concerning him. It is my desire to please my heavenly father in all that I do in the life he has given me.
