Shelley's been writing for a year and a half after spending many years as a Self-Taught Artist as well as having a passion for reading. It was only a year and a half ago that she turned to writing her own stories. After signing up with the site, www.writing.com, she found herself taking writing classes which in turn landed her with a full portfolio and a position with the Academy's Administration. During her time in Administration, she discovered the Christian site, MercyOutreaches.com and became Editor/writer for their branch, Dove Chronicles. Shelley now is the proud writer of Children's fiction, medical awareness, articles and a novel in progress.
