I am a 51 year old housewife. I love fishing, the outdoors, taking picture's, I also sing, which I truly love. That is when I feel closest to God. I sing Bluegrass, country Gospel. Most of all I love the Lord. I have been married for 31 years to a wonderful man. I have a son 30, he is a son any mother would be proud of. I also have a daughter 28, her name is Wendy. She is the reason I am writing this. I lost Wendy on December 20Th, 2006. Wendy was an amazing woman. We were told in December of 1997 that she had only 3 days to live. They told us she had a very rare form of cancer. God was not ready for Wendy. We traveled for treatment, and we saw so many miracles. Three years ago, the doctor's told us Wendy was medecally dead. Wendy never complained, she was prepared. She knew she would be going home to be with the Lord. Wendy wrote her own memorial service, she also wrote letter's for all of us to read after she died. I have picture's she painted, sketches she had done, I even found one she had drawn of me. We have so much to hang on to. Before Wendy died she was writing a book on our journey's, and miracles. A few weeks before she died, she asked me to try and finish her book. Wendy left me so many notes, dates, time lines, even receipts of places we had traveled to for treatment, plane ticket stubs, movie tickets stubs, napkins from resturants we had eaten at. just anything we had done together. Wendy was the strongest person I have ever known. God Blessed me with her. We were close, she was my best friend. I took care of her. even after she got married, she lived behind me, so I could take care of her, while her husband was at work. Wendy has never been away from us more than three to four days her her whole life. It is hard to go on without her, but I know God has something for me to do. I pray I will finish that book. and give God the glory.
