Do you have a loved one in heaven waiting for you?
Do you know for sure you'll see them again, when your time here is through?

We were Blessed with two children, a little girl, and a little boy.
Both of them brought us so much joy.

Time went by, and we thought all was good.
Until that awful day, beside my daughter's bed the doctor stood.

The news he had to tell us, we knew he could hardly say.
He said your daughter's sick, and may not make it through the day.

We knew in our hearts Lord, she wasn't ready, what would we do?
We fell on our knees, prayed and prayed, Please Lord not today, our daughter isn't ready to meet you.

Because of prayer, that one day turned into years, and time went by.
We were still praying, Lord, our daughter is still not ready, Please don't let her die.

Than one day in an old country church, as my daughter and I stood at our pew.
I saw her bow her head, I saw her give her life to you.

I knew than Lord, when her time on earth was through.
She would walk on streets of gold, I knew she would be with you.

Her time did come, she's gone, no more on this earth to be.
But now I know, my daughter is in heaven waiting for me.

Do you have a loved one in heaven waiting for you?
Do you know for sure you'll see them again, when your time her is through?

Oh, my. What a heartfelt poem. In answer to your question, yes! I have my brother, John, and both my parents, along with some very good friends. We need to be reminded...there's more to life than this earthly existance. And we WILL see them again!
