"The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly." (Proverbs 15:14)
What do you feed your mind? We all have a choice and responsibility as to what we feed our minds. We can seek "knowledge" that will build and improve our thinking, or we can give ourselves to "folly" that will only take up our time without giving us anything of value. When I grew up on the farm we had a winter job of shelling corn. Shelling corn was a process of removing the shucks and chaff from the grain. The nutrient value of corn is in the grain, not the chaff. As food for our mind knowledge is like eating corn, folly is a meal of chaff. You cannot be healthy eating chaff.
