"…at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in." (Proverbs 07:09)
This verse, taken by itself, is beautiful, even poetic. Twilight time is one of our favorite times to ride our motorcycle. It is a beautiful time of day before the dark of night sets in. The context of this verse however, is that this is the time an adulteress has chosen to seduce a young man. Sin seems to wait for the light of day to pass, and fools itself that the darkness hides the sin. Never believe that. Sin will always be found out. In thousands of years man seems to have not caught on that the LORD sees in the dark. Be wise, stay righteous.
