Poetry
When I was a baby, you cradled me in your arm
When I was a toddler, you held my hand to keep me from harm
When I was a child, you taught me how to act and what to say
When I was a teen, you loved me anyway
When I became an adult, you let me go
Now, in my arms, I cradle you
I hold your hand like I did when I was two
I remind you of things you taught me before
Now that you are old, I love you even more
And now I know, it is time to let you go
