Are you the One?
Are you God’s son?

He sent his courier to inquire.
His situation seemed dire.

Yet, had he himself not boldly declared
“Behold the Lamb of God”
Was it not His road that he had prepared

Had he lost faith in what he believed?
Had he been deceived?

Had doubts captivated his mind?
These were answers he must find.

He needed strength and assurance.
Time and circumstance had worn his endurance.

The courier returned with this reply.
What he had seen, he could not deny,

“ I saw the lame walk.”
“I saw the dumb talk.”

“I saw the blind receive their sight.”
“I saw wrong made right.”

“I saw the sick healed.”
“I saw the empty filled.”

“I saw the lost found.”
“I saw the captive unbound.”

“I saw the hungry fed.”
“I saw life given to the dead.”

“I saw the weak made strong.”
“I saw sorrow turned into song.”
