Aughh! Hurry, hurry! We got to go!
I hate being late, don't you know!

I have so much to do today!

Quick! Scribble a list and run out the door!
My day is filled with chore after chore!

I have so much to do today!

As I grab the handle to go out in a rush
I hear God ask for time with Him in a hush

But...I have so much to do today!

I hear Him ask again and again
I know to reject Him is a sin

But...I have so much to do today!

I'll spend time with with Him later some time
My first priority has to mine!

I have so much to do today!

Never mind the fact I'm hurting the Lord
Or willingly choosing to not use my sword

I just have so much to do today!

I know what I'm doing is causing Him sorrow
But don't worry... I'll try to do it tomorrow

I have so much to do today!
