Encouragement
You didn’t see it on a billboard as you drove to work today.
No banners posted outside the school as you dropped the kids off.
There was no message inside a fortune cookie, or in large type in the daily newspaper.
You did not hear: “We interrupt this program to bring you an important announcement” on your cable TV or Internet news.
No, just that still, small voice that called to you today, asking you to come and talk with Him for a little while.
Did you hear it? Or have you gotten so busy and so into the “routine” of life that you forget to listen?
He desires a relationship with you. Today, this week, this month and for the rest of your life. Each day His mercies are new. Each hour, His presence is precious, His wisdom available, His comfort guaranteed.
Run to Him – not away from Him.
Be still.
Be still and know that He is God.
