The Word for Writers

Writing is an expression of the inner self of man on paper or as the case is in our day, via electronic media.


Writing can also be described as an art form; like all other forms of art, it is meant to probe the reader’s attention and if possible stimulate his deepest thoughts to certain emotion.


Such a beautiful art form is a great gift to cherish and use for the edification of the body of Christ and the support of humanity as a whole.

A truly gifted writer focuses on (and is expectantfor positive response) the eventual digestion of his piece and the objective reaction expected.

Beauty is perceived through sight, (by seeing or reading),
hearing (sounds and music),
smell (perfumes and flowers)
and touch (the feel factor).


Beauty is meant to give JOY,PEACE and SATISFACTION in whichever form that it is presented and perceived; when the above three are missing and the opposite is the reaction from the reader, and the reaction received is the target of the writing and the writer, then there is something TERRIBLY WRONG!

Beauty properly packaged and given as a gift encourages, challenges and cheers up (when the one is down in mood and disposition) the receiver, increasing his confidence giving him a reason to fight on, persevere and stay strong

When writing becomes bizarre, foul and goads the reader to negative thoughts and reactions then it is evil and to be avoided like the devil; THE BIBLE SAYS TO RESIST HIM AND HE SHALL FLEE FROM YOU!

A writer is somewhat like a motivational speaker or an orator who, with simple well-put-together words, can stimulate his audience, to react with loving passion on a burning socio-political issue on the world scene or goad them to civil unrest, hate,aggression and even murder.


Like all other gifts and talents, we choose how we want to use ours to allow God’s name be glorified in the lives of people or push people further into their depressions ,desperations, bitterness, discouragements anger, frustrations, feelings of oppression, prejudice, lusts and addictions in a hopeless quagmire.

Also like every other TALENT, there is accountability expected eventually for how it is used; there will come a day of judgment of all life and the works of our hands.


HOW DO YOU WANT TO BE RATED ON THAT DAY AND WHERE WOULD YOU WANT TO END UP, HEAVEN OR HELL?
Do you say "just because of what I wrote?" Am afraid so!
