“Truth”
The uprising of questions arose
When the arrows of reality invaded my truth
Where the fibres of my soul where shaken,
From their very foundations and roots.
Where my flaws like oil in water refused to mix and rose to the top
Visible for all to see.
My significance, my value, my purpose
Put under a magnifying glass to uncover their primary genetic form
Examined like blood in order to source out the disease hiding within
The anchors of truth that ground my soul
Under scrutiny and attack from reality
The past like meat hung on my back tasty and bloody
A hungry dog spotted its redness and is chasing to rip it off me
In pursuit of not only what I represent, but for a piece of me
The eyes of fear, deadly yes, but kept inactive by the truth that remains unshaken
The pillars of truth that are established in the inner most parts of all humanity
This truth that keeps that fabric of life untempered with
The truth obeyed by the sun the it rises at daybreak, and the moon the lights the night
Its validity stands undebated by the universe
Not seeking for acceptance, or approval to legitimise it but stands because its truth
The uprising of questions will always arise
Shaking the grounds one stands on
However uncertainty is the world, certainty is God
Standing throughout eternity unmoved
The truth of the ages giving birth to itself in every era of our lives
Like human beings expressed in male and female and no other
Centuries will come and go yet the miracle of human nature remains an ingenious mystery
Truth - is the compass of life itself . . .
