‘Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles’. She pondered on that scripture which arose from deep inside her, whilst simultaneously fumbling in her cluttered bag attempting to locate her i-pod and clumsily sitting down on the top deck of the double decker bus. ‘Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles’, resonated from within for a second time, only this time, much louder. There it was again, she thought, chewing on this more fully, realising that her earlier annoyance at waiting so long for the bus had dissipated. Waiting, waiting, waiting. That was all she seemed to do. Waiting for something that never came. Lord, time is passing, I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER she silently screamed, in her spirit. She was certain heaven had heard that cry! As she glanced outside she saw the pub, ‘The Eagle’. Ok, God, point taken. I’ll try and trust you, she pledged in her thoughts. However, can you please give me a clue as to what I’m waiting for? She waited....for His reply.
