of my FISH TANK?"

FELL OUT?"

[NOD.]

[SILENCE.]

[LONG PAUSE.]

[PATIENT SILENCE.]

"Is THIS one'a
those PARABLES?"

[LOVING SHAKE OF THE HEAD.]
[SIGH.]
[GAZE, PATIENTLY,
AT ONE OF THE RINGS
OF SATURN.]

"Cuz.....
I NEVER understand
THEM!"

[SMILE!]
"Which One,
My beloved?"

"ALL of 'em!"
(Make a face up at the
ceiling.)
"I STILL haven't gotten
that one about....
the WINE BOTTLES!"

[SMILE!]
"Read It,
to Me."

"Then the
disciples of John
came to Him,
saying,
Why do we
and the Pharisees
fast,
but
Your disciples do not...?
And,
Jesus said to them....
Neither is new wine
put into old wineskins;
if it is,
the skins burst,
and the wine is spilled,
and the skins...destroyed;
but new wine
is put into
fresh wineskins,
and so
both are preserved.
