[SOLEMN NOD.]

(Sassy smile!)
"So....I figured,
I'd ask YOU!"

[SILENCE.]

(Smile up at ceiling vent.)
(Laugh!)
"I thought You
were supposed to
KNOW EVERYTHING?"

[SILENCE.]

(Yell.)
"WELL?"

[SILENCE.]

(Silence.)

[SMALL VOICE.]
"What do you
really wish to
know,
My child?"

(Sudden silence.)
(Look away.)
"Nothin',
Lord.
Nothin'."

[QUIET VOICE.]
"Tell Me."

(Downcast gaze.)
"I feel ashamed,
Lord."

[NOD.]

(Tearful silence.)
"I feel ashamed.
And STUPID."
(Long silence.)
"Cuz.....
I haven't gotten
over it,
yet."

"What,
My beloved?"

"My heart
gettin' broken."

[PATIENT SILENCE.]

"I'm supposed to've
gotten OVER it,
by now."

[GAZE AT THE MOONS OF JUPITER.]
[NOD.]
[SILENCE.]

"But.....
I ain't."

[QUIET VOICE.]
"Who AM I,
little one?"

(Shrug.)
"The One Who's
supposed to be
PICKIN' up...
all the PIECES?"

"No,
My child."

"NO?
Well, then....!"

[TENDER SMILE.]
"I already have them
right
Here,
in My Hand."
