Don't be a mistress or a part-time lover in any man's life
Because he has no intentions of making you his wife.
He's using your life as a game, and your body as the playing field.
He's getting what he wants making false promises of the life you'll build
When he has a chance to leave his wife to be with you
And give you the commitment he claims you're due
Because of your faithfulness and the love you show;
Never causing trouble or interrupting the flow
Of his mainstream life as husband and father,
And never being a nuisance or a bother.
But, you must realize at some point that you're no more
Than a very well hidden secret being paid the price of a whore.
You mean nothing to him; and he'll take as long as you give,
And, you'll never have a true life to live
Waiting on him to be all yours alone.
It won't happen sooner nor later because all of the trust will be gone.
Knowing how you got him fills "Trust's" space
Because you'll already know he's able to lie right to your face.
So, why sacrifice years and years of your life
Wasted on a man who will never make you his wife.
