Poetry
The sun shone down this afternoon,
and warmed the earth below.
Lighting up Gods wonders,
with a soft and Holy Glow.
The bluest skies,
and heavens scent,
Whispered in the air.
All around,
His Glory found,
His Presence everywhere.
He smiled at me in sunbeams.
Laughed in sparkling streams.
Led my eyes to Mountains,
Filled my heart with dreams.
Visions of Eternity,
When all of this is done.
Visions of His outstretched arms,
The Father and The Son.
Then I smiled right back at Him,
So Blessed within this place,
I don’t need to be in Heaven,
To see my Saviours face.

This is beautiful, thanks.
This poem gave me a peaceful and tranquil feeling of intamacy with Jesus. I love the phrase "heaven scent." Thanks for sharing with us all, giving hope for the week ahead for anyone who is discouraged...Sorry it has been so long since I have read or commented on your articles. Our schedule, with travel back and forth to the hospital, left little time for anything else. My time at the computer was limited...God's blessings...Helen
