Marching to the steady beat
Of time on the battlefield
Time is an earthly clockwork
And time is ticking still.

We wear the scars of battle
As time helps us to forget
The pains of yesterday
The sorrows of regret.

As time dictates the seasons
All the colorful reasons
We march on to His glory
And continue to tell His story.

To all the lands near and far
Time will not wait
We must spread the Gospel
Before its too late.

Sometimes - time heals
Sometimes - time esteems
Sometimes - time reveals
Wonders and astonishing things.

Sometimes - time weeps
Over things men do to each other
For time is a guardian
Who chronicles our deeds
Be they good or bad
Time sees ---

But even time could not endure
That day on Calvary
When Jesus suffered so for us
Time wept bitterly.

The ordinance of light did time withdraw
To cloak our Savior from the shame
He bore for us upon that cross
His blood, His life, His Holy name.

Time has its steady purpose
Each minute draws us near
To the place where time is no more
And we see His face so dear.

We close the door on time
And step into a dimension
Beyond our comprehension
Where time can't make us age
Time no longer sets the stage.

Time to live in heaven
In mansions made for the King's children
Where time no longer rises
And beckons us to battle.

But, even when time is up
Even when time is out
Even when time is no more
God is ---
