What do you do when times come where everybody has an opinion, but none of them seem to fit? It is time to talk!

What do you do when the battles that you are fighting are sapping your strength? It is time to talk!

What do you do when the perplexities of life are threatening to weight you down? It is time to talk!

IT IS TIME TO TALK TO YOURSELF, TO YOUR ENEMIES, AND TO THE LORD.

I think you get the idea. And when it is time to talk; you must always talk faith.

With the assurance that you are a child of God, something good is going to happen to you. (Rom. 8:28)

I hope that you know just how important this principle is to your successful Christian life. Your ability to stand does not rest on your capacity. It does not rest on how well things seem to be going. It does not rest on the foundation of your feelings.
It rests on your faith! It rests in your ability to put your confidence in the lord. Not being blinded by situation or adverse circumstance! It rests on the bedrock of your trust in God.

It is important to “talk your walk.” It is important to “walk your talk” as well. We must never think that it is good enough to talk a good talk without having a corresponding walk. Living according to our confession. Live a life consistent with the principles of your faith.

But, never let this diminish the fact that we must talk your walk. The first principle is supported by the second principle. You will never find people who live right who do not talk right. Just as, you never find happy people, who don’t act happy.
I wonder how much we have lost out on by not realizing the importance of faith talk?

The scripture says, “now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Heb. 10: 38) and, “but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to god must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Heb. 11: 6)
When things are tough it is time to “stand” (Eph. 6: 13), put on the whole armour of god and make a renewed proclamation of your confidence in god. (Eph. 6: 10-18)

We are to be a people of living, active, fiery, enduring faith. “for God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” [or a self-controlled mind] (2 Tim. 1:7)
When tough times come upon us it is not time to talk unbelief!!!!

Remember when you talk doubt you are using your faith in reverse. You are believing for bad things to happen. With even less effort you can believe for the good things of god to happen. I say less because you will continue to have to support your doubts, but the truth supports its own self.

I need to add a word of explanation here. The world and its way have primed you to be a skeptic, full of fear and disbelief. In order to change the direction of your faith you must re-educate your mind and spirit with what god’s word has to say. “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of god.” (Rom. 10:17)
Down deep in my spirit as I write I hear the objection. But, I don’t have any faith. Here what the Bible has to say, “..God has dealt to everyman the measure of faith.” (Rom. 12: 3)
The only difference is in the way in which you choose to use your faith.
Psalm 27 is one of those times in David’s life when he needed to talk his faith. We all have them!
All of us have seen the times when we are tempted to wallow in the deeps of despair. And give our own selves a pity party. But, be forewarned, “be sober , be vigilant; your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Pet. 5: 8)

Read this portion of God’s Word and meditate on the wonderful truths contained in it. Learn how to pray in times of adversity while maintaining your stand of faith!
