Rain did obey Almighty’s command and rage
And fiercely the battle it did wage
In wrath God witnessed men’s plight
“No!” He closed His eyes – it’s a horrible sight
“Beat no more!” He commanded again
“Oh! Never! No more of such stress and strain
With whom I created to chant My name.”
Thus, reminding God’s woe and vow
I appeared as the RAINBOW
Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth Genesis 9:16
