AWESOME

LORD, YOU ARE AWESOME! Does that word suffice?
After your grace saved me, I slipped back into my old life.
I turned back to the world in all of its defiantly blatant sin.
When I came back to you broken; you accepted me again.

LORD, YOU ARE AWESOME! I can’t even say how much.
I’m thankful for your compassion and your Spirit’s touch.
I’ll present you with praise for all renovation that you’ve done.
I’ll worship you, for you are redemption and God’s only Son.

LORD, YOU ARE AWESOME! holy and omnipotent.
You came when I straddled and fell off that fence.
No more fences dear Lord am I compelled to ride.
I am unbending; I will stay right by your side.

LORD, YOU ARE AWESOME! So simple is your yoke.
“I surrender Jesus!”-Smartest words these lips ever spoke.
These words are my praise for ONE reason- they are fact.
You cover me Jesus; that’s why there’s no turning back!!!
