Multitudes are changing nations,
Dispersed by famines and conflicts;
In strange lands build new foundations---
From East and West they intermix;

Is this Babel’s re-emergence?
Will all the nations be as one?
Could this world-wide race convergence
Mean final countdown has begun?

Is this “clay and iron mixing”---
Forerunner to the latter days?
Was this what Daniel was predicting---
The “ten-toed kingdom” on its way?

Meanwhile, to our lands they’re teeming---
A milling mass of unsaved souls---
Harvest fields that need redeeming---
Lost sheep that need to find the Fold!

Midst the turmoil of the nations
The wise alone can understand;
Word and Spirit’s revelation
Equips us for the task at hand.

We are here to bring them witness,
To point them to the Word of Life---
Lights aglow in growing darkness---
Ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
