The Christmas Christ

This Holy baby in a manger’s dirt,
Whose name around the world would skirt,
Was no less than the Jesus Christ,
Who would bring us to God, within our rights.

A newborn babe, so soft and sweet,
Who God has laid at mankind’s feet,
Will grow up to save us once for all,
Bringing each and everyone the call

To repentance and forsake our sin,
And new life totally begin.
He became the Master and was the Son
Whose Spirit comes to everyone

Who accepts His forgiveness and His love,
For when He was baptized, God sent the dove.
His peace be upon you now, my friend,
Know only on Him you can depend.

None greater than He in this universe,
Let yourself in His love immerse.
Accept His friendship and His life for you.
There is nothing wiser that you can do.

His mercy and grace only overflow
To every man, just to show,
That God in all His righteousness
Is also the Lord of great kindness.
