Lord, let me not take for granted the sky
Let me not take for granted the trees
The evidence that lies before me of Thy
Supreme and awesome presence

Let me not take for granted the sky,
An easel upon which a canvas lies
Where the craft of Thy handiwork
Is visible to me

The mere stroke of Your hand
Transforms it from one masterpiece
To another in but only a moment

Let me not take for granted the sky
Or the fresh breath of Thy nostril
that cools me on a hot summer's day

Let me not take for granted
The Lamb sacrificed for me
That I might see -- your presence
Oh how great God is!
