It all begain years ago, on an early summers morn.
That was my first sweet embrace, never to be forlorn.
I was looked upon so graciously, with those sunflower eyes.
Nobody can describe that touch, regarless of how one tries.

There was always someone by my side, whenever I was sick.
Holding me closely in her Clutch, that was her favorite trick.
She would sit there patiently, in her rocker near my bed.
Making sure my fever broke, with a cool cloth on my head.

Whenever things start to go awry, she is always there.
Even if it is just to talk, she listens with utmost care.
I wish I knew what I will do, once she is gone.
It make me feel faintly lost, like the shadows after dawn.

She has always been the careing type, whos heart is on het sleeve.
And she is branded deep within my thoughts, so she will never leave.
There are many like her everywhere, all with thier priceless charms.
Forever, I will rest peacefully; in my mother's arms.
