I sit quiet and motionless in my babies room.
Watching oh so silently toward my childs eyes.
Pale light of day filtering past the window sill,
caressing her sleepy face.
She rests hypnotized by the sounds while staring at the sky.
Thoughts of dreams and nappy time tickling her little mind.
Yawning like a tiny bird like you see while picnicing in the park.
I start to see myself through her wondering Eyes.
Listening to the raindrops fall while the thunder crackles and booms.
Gentle spring rains falling outside softly on the walk.
Her sweet voice says "rain...pretty".
Feelings of sadness and happiness bombard me left and right.
I can see myself resting in that calming pale blue light.
Something wet begins to form in the corner of my eye.
Kiss my daughter nighty night then leave to dry my eyes.
Dreams and raindrops falling while the angels cry.
