I love You Lord
You died for me
What a great thing to do
Seeing there was no sin in You

I love You Lord
Because You have shown me how to live
How to treasure this life
By learning how to give

For I believe there is nothing else
That means so very much in this world
Except to be like You
I want to be like You

I know You’ve promised me
Something, of no other, I could receive
You’ve been too good to me
I pray the world could see

I can’t imagine getting more than a glimpse
Of Your glory, I hope I have a chance
For what You’ve done for me up to this date
Of my own I could not repay

For my mind and heart have been deceived before
I pray to God it would be no more
For tomorrow I know not what is in store
Except that God will be with me as before

I know God has chosen me, a man
He gave me knowledge here to understand
God entrusted me to do the best I can
And only with His Son, I have a chance

I’m sure God has always been the same
It is I who often twists and change
Only God has an Holy name
Of which our God has allowed us to claim

I know that no man thus deserve
Even the smallest of God’s Holy Word
And yet so great a God has given man
His Word of truth, so we can stand

Not to stand thinking it is of our own
But through His Word He commands His Son be known
Through Christ Jesus He has made it shown
He will impart to us an Holy home

A home of which we can vision but a part
Even we purify our heart
Because our God has saved His very best
For those He chooses to share it with

Oh my God, Oh perfect God, Oh God of light
Your perfect Word You have bestowed for my delight
And even though I give my all to know Your Word
Of You so small a portion I can learn

I can’t believe You trusted me with even part
Of what You knew before the earth did start
And yet You freely give us more than we can know
All praise to You, Oh Holy God, please help me grow

I ask Oh God you keep me in my place, a man
To never condemn anyone who is where I use to stand
For I know if not for Your saving grace
I would have died in sin instead of being alive in faith

I make no claim of a reward I should receive
For I thank God He allowed me to believe
He sent to die upon a cross His very Son
And for this cause I truly say, I know I’ve won
