God is not concerned with the size of our bank account, or who is/is not in office in our government. He is not as concerned with the wars and rumors of wars, as much as the war raging within the soul of each of us.

He says “If my people, who are called by my name will humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”

It starts with HIS PEOPLE. We are the ones who need humbling, turning.

Is anything gnawing at your conscience as you read this?

Are there areas where you have sidestepped God’s authority and tried to retake lordship of your life? Are there areas where your life no longer shines with integrity, but is corrupt, wicked, evil? Has your faith been compromised by choices you have made, and now your love for Him runs cold?

Turn, fall on your face before Him. Cry out for forgiveness. Allow Him to restore you to the right path, to a clean heart. He is there. He is waiting, with arms open wide, just like that day on Calvary.

remember how the words go.....
…… turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.
