Lord Jehovah, hear my plea
Forget my crimes, forgive each sin
And lift me nearer unto Thee
Where I may dwell in Thy heaven.

With frail, trembling heart I bow
Before Thy burning throne of light.
Oh hear my prayer unto Thee now
As I worship Thee in truth and might.

Wash me clean through the holy blood
Of the Lamb's sacrifice for love.
Lower me into the fiery flood,
The Holy Spirit from above.

Jehovah, my triumphant God,
Thou mighty Lord and Prince of Peace,
Unto Thee all honor and laud
Whose grace from above shall not cease.
