As I bow before the throne of grace,
Tears of shame slide down my face,
Unable to meet His eyes I weep,
Knowing my soul He'd never keep.
I've lived life in every nation
Now I wait for condemnation.

But to His bosom He gathers me
In righteousness eternally.
I marvel how such holy grace
Could life me up to see His face,
When all I deserve is hate, loathings
But His blood my Redemption brings.

He cradles me within His love,
Divine and blessed from above.
A flood of forgiveness flows
Over me and steadily grows.
My many sins are forgiven,
All my guilt has been forgoten.

As I rest in my Savior's presence,
In His holy blessedness,
He tenderly wipes away my tears
And soothes away my troubled fears.
His smile, radiant and divine
Descends on this feeble heart of mine.

I reach for His hands wounded for me
Upon the cross of Calvary.
Streams of tears flow forth again
He bore me grief, my cross, my pain.
The Spirit burns within, I see
His sacrifice was made for me.
