Jesus taught so much about love, he repeatedly encouraged all to relate with one another in love, forgiving one another, having a good rapport and being merciful when situations demand.


Do we ever wonder or ask ourselves why? Why do we have to simply forgive, certain hurts are just UNFORGIVEABLE, it seems out rightly outrageous to simply forgive certain individuals when they commit offence, what seems so glaring or sensible is to first punish, then forgive if at all; human logic is that , it is only fair that way.


God does not operate in this manner; He says His ways are not like ours neither do His thoughts flow in the same direction as ours.


Jesus encourages forgiveness seventy times seven times and also loving our enemies and doing well to those who hate us!

How can one achieve such level of love-giving and not necessarily expect to receive in return when the human instinct usually in an entirely opposite direction from God’s intention.


From childhood a man learns and becomes set in his ways.

When man is born as a child, we understand that he begins to die; medically and scientifically, the old human cells have been proven to die as new ones are formed, they grow, outlive their use and they die; the cycle continues as the body ages till death.

Spiritually speaking, this was the warning that God gave to Adam and Eve before they disregarded Him and His warning and decided to believe and choose a lie above His truth.
Once man chose his way above God’s way, the forces on the Earth took over but it is His sacrificial love that has given man a second chance of redemption.


There is rejoicing and so much happiness at the birth of an addition into a family especially in the right circumstances, the child grows and begins to be molded after and influenced by his environment and the things that surround him.
As a child he has childish tendencies and innocent outlook and beliefs, with time and at various stages of life, he develops peculiar characteristics, emotions and habits due to forces that were instituted before him like;family influence, friendships, communal/racial beliefs and doctrines, work and working environment influences, health issues, the economy and his finances, all these oftentimes cumulate and eventually overwhelm a man.

However, the Bible makes us understand that, life and the trust in all that is in it do not last nor endure, only FAITH in God does.


Love from above never dies, it sustains even in the midst of life’s trials, Jesus proclaimed that you are known as His followers when you love one another.
To put trust in kings, horsemen and their horses leads to death eventually in one form or the other, in this life and the other.


Love conquers all, love endures, love is sweet and eternal but only when displayed like the father did; unconditional and free.
