Lord, I am tired and have been up for some time
These thoughts are too many and stay in my mind
As I study Your Word and take this new class
Penetrate me with healing and help me surpass
Lord, I am tired of running to "man"
Open my heart to see Your plan
Again and again I am often let down
By man, himself, then I fall to the ground
So I call to You, Lord; my El Shaddai
My soul Provider, my God, Most High
Thankful I am, for how You hold my hand
And encouraging always, to take a stand
Lord, I am tired of our broken society
But now I remember, that's how You reached me
So, I will pray to You, Jesus, for Your healing touch
To saturate us all, because You love us so much
You never fail to give me the words to write
Because I know that through them, You display Your might
Blessed I am, to be forever in debt to You
And I always will be amazed how very true
Your love is for me, for this I know
Now teach me some more, I need to grow.
