Here I am knocking on Heaven's Door
Yearning to find what I'm looking for
A daily walk, I'm put to the test
Reach out to me Lord, to help me do my best
I long to be a soldier for You
So continue to guide my step so true
Trying and tiresome is this life I live
All of me and everything to You, I give
Sometimes obstacles are all I can see
My trials and tribulations won't let me be
Will You, fill me up and stablelize my ground?
Oh yes, You will, this I have found
So I wait for You, outside Your door
Oblivious of what You have in store
In store for me and all the rest
I will reveal Your love, and do my best
Thank You, Lord for answering my knock
You are my Shepard, who tends His flock.
