Even though, You already know
What I'm going to write;
I have to say it and have to pray it,
So lend me Your ears, this night.
I have my faith which You gave unto me
But my pain has me blinded so I simply can't see
Where is my rainbow, and where is the end?
I need You, Lord to be my best friend
Why do I feel so desperately lost?
How must I seek You, and what is my cost?
A child of Yours from the very start,
And often I pray that You know my heart
I'm sorry for hurting You with my sinful ways,
Thanking You, for being here all of my days
Struggle after struggle, tear after tear,
Listen, Lord, I'll tell You what I fear.......
Loneliness, uselessness, and my inner-self;
For I get lost in this world and yearn for it's wealth
Always and forever I can run to You,
Away from this chaos and pain so true.
How can I make it known; You are so real
Through my words, my thoughts and how I feel.
Thanks, Lord for Your blessings now, and yet to come,
I had to let this out and show others where I run.
When life seems too much and overbearring;
All I need is Your touch, and gentle carring.
That's all for now, I'll write again,
Forever grateful, You are my best friend!!!!!!!!!
