Faith

Seas are raging wars all around troubles everywhere abound
Sickness strikes down who it will and few can pay the doctor bill.
Many sad with loss from war and soon there will be many more
All seek to find a peaceful shore.

I have found a quiet cove where from troubles I was drove
And peace abounds and love surrounds a troubled mind & heart.
You'll find it in a battle field or from sickness it will shield
And comfort a wounded heart and from it's peace we'll never part.

Those nail scarred hands that comfort me and plucked me from that raging sea
I did not to deserve your love that came from above yet still u rescued me.
To you all engaged in sorrow do not wait for tomorrow
Except the peace thats offered now the gentle touch upon your brow.

No matter what arrows and slings u can take refuge in the wings
Of angels that surround us all and keeps us from a fall.
From birth to death were bathed in love from him who comes down like a dove
To bring the peace for which we dream and lead us near a quiet stream.

Let not the heart be troubled for he has a place prepared
For the meek repentant heart will be forever spared.
There is no sin he cannot erase for he is love and he is grace
And if you fall rise up again for he'll be with you to the end.
