I close my eyes and there you are
To brighten up my day.
If this life lasts a thousand years
I’ll always feel this way.
You have this way of saying things
That speak right to my heart.
Whenever I’m angry you make me laugh
Before the fight can start.
Romance, passion, thoughtfulness,
I couldn’t ask for more.
That’s why each day I love you
More than the day before.
We’ve had our fights. I must admit
There were some heated ones.
But there’s more fun in making up,
After the yelling is done.
No one is ever perfect.
We know this, you and I.
We’ve found what seems to work for us.
Let others wonder why.

Oh I LOVE, and can so relate to, this! Beautifully presented. What a blessing.
The mystery of her majesty the church is that her love is both for all and for one - I think this captures it. Are you in love with me or something greater that I am to become? Who would ask?
