A friendly smile, a nice hello,
A nod to someone you don’t know,
No rudeness and no attitude.
And It "Don’t Cost You Nothing".

To lend a hand to help a friend,
An apology given to make amends,
No anger and no thoughts of revenge,
And It "Don’t Cost You Nothing".

A nice warm hug when feelings are low,
Could make the day for someone you know.
You’re sure to reap more than you sow.
And It "Don’t Cost You Nothing".

If this doesn’t make sense to you,
Just think about it as I often do.
It sure makes life a lot simpler too,
And It "Don’t Cost You Nothing".
