The richness of the earth shall be distributed to my faithful chosen and it is they who will inherit all that lies in the earthly realm and in heaven and beyond.”

We should get this straight right in the beginning. God owns everything including you and me. If we do not get this basic concept, there is really nothing to discuss.

Our concept of God is limited by the knowledge we have acquired so far on this planet. We know NOTHING! We know so little that we cannot even imagine what we might not know.

If this statement produces a desire to argue about it, you have just proven the ridiculousness of humans.

Are we really geared up for the debate of all debates, and the defeat of all defeats. Can we possibly say that "man" has true knowledge about anything? The big important scientists may have figured out how to clone sheep, but wake me when they figure out how to create from nothing, zero, zip, nil. Blast the trumpet in my ear when we create something from nothing that has the ability to speak, think, and create more out of nothing.

So, maybe one day we get lucky and sort of create something. Would we know how it all had to work and mesh together - everything from smaller than cellular level to the outlying galaxies. Our brain cannot even comprehend the enormity of the task. We want to convince ourselves that we are intelligent, smart, and capable. What we are really trying to do is cut God down to our size. Deceiving ourselves that we are smart, or as smart as God, attempts to place ourselves in a position higher than God. It is laughable.

God has got to be laughing at how silly we appear in our somber, determined seriousness. Probably He looks at us in the same way we watch a baby learning to pull up. Have you ever watched how serious and earnestly a baby works to learn to roll over, sit up, and pull up. They are seriously serious. They work so hard at it and sometimes we just have to help them a little. Mercy, grace, and loving kindness are just what babies need. And what all of us need.
