A snowflake in the cold
A forfeited stronghold
A story yet untold

Before You is a loneliness
A falling drop of rain
Unable to remain
Still striving to maintain
And you get what you see

Before You is a bitterness
A shadow in the night
Of devilish delight
Hidden in plain sight
And you get what you see
Before you stands the real me

Unto You my brokenness
A vessel lost at sea
Searching desperately
To finally be free
And you get what you see
Before you stands the real me

Unto You my faithfulness
An answer to a prayer
Never to despair
Whether here or there
And you get what you see
Before you stands the real me

Unto You my joyfulness
The hope in a new day
A promise underway
Unable to sway
And you get what you see
Before you stands a man redeemed
