Many are the plans in a human heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21

Do you have things that you have planned for your life, yet no matter how much effort you put into those plans you hit the wall. Perhaps God is telling you it’s time to lay those plans to rest allowing him to show you the beauty in the plans HE set aside for your life. Many times we get wrapped up in the plans that we have for our future that we forget to step aside and let God’s plans for us grow. It’s hard to close the door to dreams that we thought were meant to be. To some it seems as if this is acknowledging that we failed. Acknowledgement that we are in someway inadequate for not accomplishing plans we set for ourselves. If we take time to stop spinning the wheel and reflect for a while often times we will realize we are chasing a dream that in actuality has lost its luster long ago. In those reflecting moments we will hear God’s call and begin to visualize the amazing plans he has in store for us. God knows us from the depths of our souls; he knows the plans for us to live accomplished and productive lives.

Prayer: Lord help me to lay aside my desires and MY plans for a moment so that I can reflect and visualize the plans YOU have created for me. In your precious son’s name I pray. Amen
