Nelson Mazda!!! "They will make a believer out of you!!!"

Right before my first semester at ORU...in Tulsa, OK...my car was stolen. Argggg!!! Okay... My brain was in "over-drive," trying to get ready to prepare for fall semester that I let my insurance lapse!!! Bad girl!!! Bad girl!!! That's 50 lashes with a wet noodle for me!!! (pause...) Oooohh...that feels so good!!! :)

Unfortunately...not only was getting my car stolen a bum deal. At the time...Tulsa was not a student friendly environment, when it came to transportation! Just to get to the nearest mall, I had to take 3 bus transfers!!! And it wasn't the best mall at that!!! Between all the transfers, it took approximately 3 hours up and 3 hours back!!! It didn't leave a lot of time for shopping!!! Just going to the mall was an all day trip!!! Argggg!!! Nobody had better mess with my shopping time!!! I get mean, if somebody meddles with my shopping time!!! I turn into the "Incredible Hulk!!!"

I dealt with this for 9 long months and it was 8 months...29 days...23 hours and 59 seconds...too long!!! Well... I knew that I had to do something and do it quick!!! So...I called every dealership in town and told them that I was a student in need of a car. Well... Needless to say, they all just laughed at me and told me that there was not a "snowballs" chance in "h - e - double hockey sticks" that I was going to get any wheels, on my "trifling" salary as a student.

But did I give up??? No!!! Not me!!! I'm too tenacious!!! I kept plugging away and told each of those bozos that when I got a car, I was going to come back as "Carrie" and put a "hex" on them!!! Nah...just kidding!!! But... I sure felt like it!!!

I finally fell upon a dealership, at the time, that was called "Nelson Nissan Mazda." They now have since separated the Nissan's and Mazda's and have made them two separate entities. They have also branched out into Nashville, TN...with two other locations. The plugs we "Yelpers" give to bring in business for these establishments!!! Geeezzz!!! There should be some kind of law, to give royalties to those who "hype" up the traffic flow to their business. Trust me, these industries know a good thing, when they can get their advertising for free!!!

Okay...as I was saying. I call up and get this scrawny kid, who was very green, but friendly and he tells me that he will come by and pick me up to look at cars!!! Okay... I said. That's cool.

(For the sake of not having enough room, to put everything in this review. I will skip a lot of details.)

I didn't have a job. So I couldn't get a car. I couldn't get a car. Because I didn't have a job. And that was the "catch twenty-two" that I was experiencing. Brandon (the scrawny kid)...talked his boss into selling me a car, on the promise that I would get a job!!! Now... What dealership does this??? I have been told that I have been the only customer who got such a favor. And no... I wasn't giving anyone any "Bootay" on the side. I guess when you got it. You got it!!! I just was given a lot of leniency. That's all. I guess God liked me that day.

I got a job. Worked hard and paid the car off in 9 months. Not hard to do, since the car wasn't a "stud." It was wheels (Honda Civic) and I kept it clean and that's all that mattered. Since then... Brandon has been promoted to "General Manager" and I have been buying cars from him ever since! I will make that "kick-ass" trip, all the way up to Tulsa, just to purchase my cars! I wouldn't consider getting them from anyone else!!!

When I lived in Nashville, I was elated that they opened up two dealerships and it made buying new cars easy!!! But nevertheless, even though I am living in Houston now, I will still make the trip!!! I am very loyal to those who help me...when I am in a jam!!! As they say...it's never wise to bite the hand that feeds you. You never know. What they will be able to do for you in the future!!!

I can promise you this. That if you want to make that long haul, to give them a try? They will treat you right!!! They are a dealership who believes in integrity. Also... I almost forgot! You can tell them Teresa sent you (I will get a referral fee.) Their slogan from their inception has ALWAYS been. "They will make a believer out of you!!" You can trust me. They will!!!
