Kingdom View
Call the Lord unto thee
Open the eyes of your heart and see
The presence of the Holy Spirit is here
Invite Him in and be of good cheer
In His presence I long to be
I call the Lord to come abide in me
Allow my words to speak Your truth
Signs and wonders will offer proof
Dwell among us Lord is my appeal
In Your presence the sick are healed
Fill our cups until overflowing
Let our actions have Your love showing
Come, Oh Lord, is my soulful cry
The anointing of Your Spirit to my heart apply
In Your presence under Your grace
I can meet You face to face
In His presence darkness must flee
So invite Him to dwell among thee
The Kingdom of God is at hand
Boldly proclaim it throughout the land
In Heaven there is no sickness or disease
The authority is given to cast off all of these
Miracles and much more will come
From the Lord to all, not just some
There can be no “shoulds” or “cans”
These words are built upon shifting sands
His will be done is so much more
Than what “can” be in store
Full authority has already been given
From Our Father who is in Heaven
Through Jesus the power has flown
To us so that Gospel seeds are grown
Signs and wonders need to be expected
Unless something less is accepted
Less is not from the Lord’s teaching
Abundance is what Jesus is preaching
Expect the manifestations to arrive
The power of God is truly alive
Great works is Jesus’ promise to you
To bring God’s Kingdom into view
Brothers and Sisters,
I have been reading an excellent book called “When Heaven Invades Earth” by Bill Johnson and it is blessing me greatly. So far I am about halfway through the book and have had so many revelations. Even though I am gaining these insights, the book has yet to say anything new. He talks about the Word of God and the ministry of Jesus. Yet, God is using this book to show me the true simplicity of salvation and deliverance.
This poem is inspired by one of the revelations the Lord has given me through reading this book. It is a statement of faith. We are commission to take the Gospel to all the world. We are also promised that signs and wonders WILL follow. Jesus said that we would do even greater things than the miracles He perform in the name of the Father. Too often I say “Should” or “Can” or even “If God wills it”. Even when I say these things I am not truly expecting them to come to pass. Faith is not a maybe it can happen, faith is knowing that all things are possible and expecting them to happen.
Just some food for thought. God bless.
In Christ,
Christian

The authority is given to cast off all of these."...Just before reading your wonderful poem, I read a Prayer Request from Judy Wilson (FW writer), for her family, as her brother had just lost his battle with cancer, and now was in the presence of the Lord. Your poem was so very appropriate and comforting....Helen
