Oh how I need you this day, my Lord.
I need you in ways I cannot even imagine.
Things will come my way that I did not anticipate,
and without you by my side,
directing me,
protecting me,
I would not know what to do.

Lord, your Word sustains me,
And Your Spirit lifts me up, comforting and teaching me.
When I am perplexed, I find the answer in you.

You have promised to strengthen me when I am weary
And uphold me with Your righteous right hand.

Lord , I take You at your word.

Forgive the times I have run ahead of you, not waiting for your voice.
And the times I have disregarded your wisdom.

Thank you for your everlasting love,
Your endless forgiveness
And abundant joy.

I bow before you, oh my King.
