Refinement in God's Holy Fire
Is my true heart's desire
To be continually taught
For I have been bought
With the deepest price of love
Which rains down from up above
Every trial, and sorrow I face
I maintain my focus and keep my pace
For in the depth of my spirit, I know
I must also experience the pain to grow
Not only joy, although I do embrace
Cause there's no greater joy than to see Your face
So, I do thank You, Lord, for refining me
For it's this training I get, which sets us free
Because after the storm, snow, and sleet
I rest assured, for I'm brought back to Your feet
