The best of times on this green earth
are recalled with smiles and laughter.
My heart captures many treasures from days past
Filled with joyful memories to last…
Of songs we sang, romantic places,
Your helping hand,
our special journeys to another land-
Oh, how winds of time travel so fast.

Sunrises, sunsets, first love, being together under a starry sky
Simple, yet priceless portraits
held intimately in my mind’s eye
Your beautiful face forever by my side,
soaring with me through life
With golden wings that glide.
So real and right, exciting and true
May you always know how much…

What a very romantic poem. So soft, so loving. Although my wedding was almost 51 years ago, it is still fresh in my mind. I still see my LOVE standing at the flowered arch in the garden, singing "Because You Come To Me", as I walked down the lawn towards him. Love grows with the years...Very precious poem. 'May you always know how much I love you.'I like that line.
All too often we dont express love, out loud, and I think that it is way too precious to keep quiet!
