Walk with me a while Lord,
I feel a little low.
Vacation time is almost spent,
and back to work I go.

I am so grateful for employment.
I love the work I do....
but, Oh, how I have so enjoyed,
just hanging out with You.

Soon I have to 'dress up'.
Don the 'Professional face.'
Face the world, and all its pain,
fill this carefree space.

Help me to stay focused Lord.
Mindful of my sins.
Holding tightly to Your Hand,
when stress comes rushing in.

To serve the ones You send to me,
with Compassion, Deeds, and Prayer.
In all I do, to Honor You,
that they may see You there.

Walk with me a while Lord.
Wherever I may be.
At Home, at Work,
throughout my days.
To touch 'the lost'
for Thee.
