Poetry
Overwhelmed.
Little by little,
she started to fall.
In the middle of nowhere,
God saw her stumble.
Days upon days.
Months upon months.
Slowly slipping,
further from His Hand.
The Comforter hovered over her.
Unwrapping the bindings of her heart,
one by one.
Somewhere,
the whisper of His voice.
the image of His face.
Jesus.
The hidden trail glowing softly,
far away.
The Path said 'walk me',
but she was lame.
God sent another,
to splint her broken walk.
'For His Names Sake'.
Until she found the trail.
Until she could walk unaided.
Until her heart was unwrapped,
and there 'He' shone.
Brighter than ever.
Jesus.

Thanks for your soothing and healing poem. We can all stumble, lame in the sight of God. Thankfully He heals us and lifts us up, enabling us to walk again...Good analogy...Helen

Nice wording. Very nicely done.
Lovely thought! In the midst of pain and suffering, it's difficult to think that God IS healing us and that the Holy Spirit comforts and heals our infirmities until that day when we stand, with His help, and are whole!
