Some ladies from a local community church here in perth recently attended this amazing conference and came back with a fresh hope and love for the world. Yesterday they invited some women to view on of the speaker's talks given at the conference at the church venue and it was awesome.

I went not knowing what to expect, hoping to catch a glimpse of Darlene Zscech maybe,... but this lady who spoke, Priscilla Shirer, she was a total inspiration. She based her whole talk on only a few lines of scripture in the book of Luke about the unnamed woman who anointed Jesus' feet with perfume. You have to see it for yourself if you want to know what it truly means to be a christian woman in this world today. Her speech was so relevant to today. And i liked most of all that she didn't elevate herself to some "holier-than-thou" stature that some speakers are known to do. She was real, down-to-earth, so relatable and funny but serious at the same time. A really blessed woman of God in the area of teaching.

The main thing from her talk and the reason for this post was simply to tell you that I'm a proud daughter of God, a princess in His eyes, adored by Him. His glory, His majesty, His splendor, it resides INSIDE of ME!!! And He's with me all the time, everywhere. Do u really know that? If u came to a true realization of that fact I wonder how many of us women would change the types of relationships we get into if we knew God was THERE with us, right there... or how many of us would change the way we talk when we get into a heated argument with someone, stop and think about it, coz He's right there, He knows our every thought before it comes out of our mouths...

He's bigger than our puny imaginations can ever muster the thought of so He decided to make Himself small enough so He could attract us to Himself. Don't ignore Him, He's right there next to YOU even now. He watches u when u sleep and as u wake up He patiently waits for you to talk to Him, to acknowledge His presence..... May we never forget what a privilege it is to get to know God, may we never lose sight of Him in our daily busyness but may we constantly keep a God-consciousness.
